Vernacular architecture inspired by the oyster-farming huts that are ubiquitous in the preserved, authentic area occupied by this 255 m2 house on a 993 m2 plot. On two levels, and unsuspected from the street thanks to the presence of a superb landscaped garden, this house offers an idyllic setting adjacent to the coastal path and the picturesque port of Meyran.

This former oyster farm building was sublimated in 2022 by architect Mathieu Villemonteil, founder of the AAVA architectural studio.
Inside, the living room is a succession of spaces offering both conviviality and intimacy, interrupted only by the through fireplace and elegant removable glass roof. Parquet floors and white walls provide the perfect backdrop for striking features such as the spectacular metal ribbon staircase, custom-made bookcase and designer furniture. Numerous bay windows bring nature into the home. The five bedrooms, each with its own shower room, including one on the garden level, make this a family home. The upstairs bedrooms open onto a passageway offering beautiful views of the harbor and the Bassin.
Outside, around the heated swimming pool, a large summer kitchen under a glass roof and a covered dining room invite you to relax. Two garden sheds, a small garage, a pétanque court, an outdoor shower and parking spaces complete this exceptional property.

An enchanting place in the heart of a preserved setting.
