ELEGANZA

Completely renovated in 2022 by interior designer Françoise Martin-Dareths, respecting its original identity, the house has retained many elements of its past, such as glass bricks, a magnificent Sarrancolin marble floor with veined patterns, and thin-strip oak parquet flooring. From the entrance, soft tones blend with textures in an intimate space with custom-made fittings. The original Comblanchien staircase with its ironwork leads upstairs, where the well-defined living spaces benefit from light streaming through. On one side of the reception landing is the dining room, an extension of the fully equipped custom-made kitchen. On the other, the living room with its glazed corner accompanied by its reading corner with a large integrated library, opens onto the outdoor terrace with a view of the rooftops and a spiral staircase that leads to the green patio on the ground floor. The second floor accommodates a bright master suite with a dressing room and a private bathroom, as well as two other bedrooms that share a shower room with polished concrete walls. From the landing, a secondary wooden staircase provides access to the third and last floor where there is a beautiful bedroom with its private shower room, nestled under the roof with its library as a separation intertwined with the structural elements. Finally, a vast dual-aspect workshop opens through a large bay window onto the green patio and allows several layout possibilities thanks to independent access from the street, a kitchenette and a shower room.
