This former workshop of the sculptor and painter Jean-Pierre Gras has been carefully renovated by the interior designer Gilles Jauffret of the house Le Divin Complot in the architectural respect of the place by preserving its period features and creating a harmony between the charm of the old and modern comfort. Punctuated by the omnipresent light of the South through its high workshop windows and its generous volumes, the living room immediately plunges into the surrounding landscape where everything is mineral and nature. Through its glass roof and its small balcony, the room is largely open to the outside. A breakfast kitchen, with the right balance of tones of wood and green Zelliges makes the link with the second living room. With its elegant stone fireplace, its astonishing plant wall and its sublime ceiling with exposed beams, the living room inspires tranquility. Accessible from a flight of stairs, the master suite with its bathroom gives the impression of a theatrical staging from its balconies overlooking the living room and its glass roof. Upstairs, two bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, comfortable in soft tones, take place. Finally, a space under the converted attic: dormitory or office is accessible in the continuity of the staircase. A closed garage, a laundry room, a boiler room area, as well as a 45 m² studio with a separate entrance on the ground floor, complete the services of this house.
