After a legal career exploring the intricacies of business law in Poitiers, then delving into the world of intellectual property in Montreal, Claire spent eight years as a construction lawyer. This adventure took her to construction sites and courtrooms, devotedly advising both private individuals and building professionals. And in La Rochelle, where she joins her husband.
In 2020, in the midst of her confinement, she embarked on the renovation of their main residence, revealing her passion for creating and renovating living spaces. She then decided to change careers, and trained at the EDAA interior design school. This led to the creation of her own company, making her aspirations a reality and launching her business in 2023.
She draws her inspiration from a wide range of sources: from the emblematic architecture of La Samaritaine to the old-fashioned spirit of Italy, via the shimmering colours of Marrakech. Above all, she is guided by a deep conviction: to make interior design accessible to everyone, by democratising its codes and practices. Her approach is to start from the place or its history, in order to sublimate what already exists or to reveal the essence of the place by cleverly adapting to the constraints encountered.
So it is with enthusiasm and determination that she embarks on ARCHIK, fully sharing this vision of the Art of Living, where the creation of harmonious, evolving living spaces is at the heart of our concerns.
