OTCHO STUDIO

Interior Designer

Virginie began her studies with a master’s degree in Sociology in 2005. But it was at the Ecole Boulle in the Space Design section that she found her means of expression and true fulfilment.

She began her career in 2013 as a Project Manager at Atelier FB, a Parisian architecture firm, where she learned the rigour and technicality of the profession. In 2017, she finally founded her own architectural firm, Otcho Studio, to devote herself to a clientele of individuals wishing to rethink their homes.

Concerned with the dialogue between sociology and architecture, Virginie puts her sense of observation and intuition at the service of her projects. For her, finding the right equation between function and aesthetics requires a precise analysis of the space and materials, but also of the lifestyle and needs of the future occupants. “The boldness comes afterwards, to serve the simplicity and singularity of the place.

In terms of inspiration, Oscar Niemeyer, Luis Barragán, Frank Gehry, Charlotte Perriand, Andrée Putman, Gae Aulenti, Joaquim Tenreiro, David Hockney, René Magritte, Zao Wou-Ki, constitute Virginie’s non-exhaustive repertoire of references, whether for modernity, functionalism, audacity, colouring, abstraction, elegance or proportions.

Driven by the desire to understand her clients and the essence of their projects, Virginie shares with ARCHIK the quality of the support and the sense of detail that structure an architectural project and its success.
