ARTS ET MÉTIERS
The mythical and dynamic Arts et Métiers district, located in the 3rd arrondissement of Paris, is situated between the top of the Rue du Temple and the Boulevard Sébastopol.
Inspired by the Conservatoire des Arts et Métiers, this district is a symbol of the French Revolution.
On Rue Saint-Martin, you can enjoy the Musée des Arts et Métiers, promising an escapade in the history of human inventions.
You can see all kinds of machines and go back through the history of technology.
Historically, the Arts et Métiers district is the oldest Chinese district in the capital. You can still find a large number of Chinese wholesalers, especially in the rue au Maire. Rich of old and Haussmannian buildings, this cosmopolitan and cultural district is animated by many cultural places or interests.
From the Saint-Nicolas-des-Champs church to the Gaîté Lyrique theater, residents enjoy an attractive living environment.
Opposite the city hall of the 3rd district, you can stroll in the Square du Temple. This green space is designed around bodies of water, statues and small fountains, giving it a unique charm. It is also a very dynamic district, full of stores and refined boutiques, where you can enjoy shopping on Sundays.
