Both an interior architect and designer, Camille Herbinet graduated from the Ecole Camondo in 2012, and began her career with Frédéric Berthier and Le Bon Marché in Paris. These formative years gave her the opportunity to work on large-scale projects in both the private and public sectors, and to explore exceptional materials and know-how that helped stimulate her creativity.
In Marseilles in 2022, she set up her own agency, STUDIO HERBINET, and has since been working on interior design projects for private individuals and boutiques.
The search for harmony between function and form by Mies Van Der Rohe, John Pawson and Valerio Olgiati inspires her, as does Axel Vervoordt’s Wabi Sabi philosophy. Considering each project and location as unique, the essence of Camille’s signature lies in the harmonization of colors, the articulation of space around light, the use of raw materials and the interplay of volumes and curves. A way of materializing each interior without seeking effect, through the right balance of warmth and elegance.
Her attachment to the notion of the art of living naturally drew her to ARCHIK, and it’s with great enthusiasm that Camille accompanies you on your renovation projects in Marseille!
