This contemporary villa of approximately 350 m2 sits on a magnificent 1,920 m2 wooded plot bordering the forest in the highly sought-after Haitza district, just steps from the beaches and shops.

Built in 2021 by the Bordeaux-based architectural firm MAJCZ, founded by Martine Arrivet and Jean-Charles Zebo, this project embodies a strong vision of architecture perfectly integrated into its natural surroundings. Large glazed surfaces blur the lines between indoors and outdoors, allowing nature to fully permeate the living spaces. Designed on a single level, in perfect harmony with the topography of the land, the house is organized into three distinct sections, each dedicated to a specific use. The open-plan living area, bathed in light, impresses with its spaciousness. It opens fully through sliding glass doors onto a covered terrace, which extends into a pool area facing the forest. On either side of this clean-lined volume, linked by transparent walkways, the pavilions offer an ideal layout: one dedicated to children, comprising three bedrooms, each with its own terrace; the other, a master suite with a bathroom and large dressing room, boasting its own suspended rock garden, where comfort and privacy are paramount. On the lower level, a gym, a guest suite with a bathroom, a laundry room, hybrid rooms, and a double garage complete the high-end amenities. Outside, the terraces and swimming pool blend harmoniously into a verdant setting of native species, with the forest as a backdrop.

The metal frame, the omnipresence of glass, and the zinc roof, in deliberate contrast to the surrounding architecture, lend this property a unique and resolutely contemporary character.
