Completely renovated in 2016, the single-storey house has retained some original architectural elements such as its Fontvieille stone and hollow brick facade, its sliding wooden shutters, its stone walls and its central fireplace. Each extension of the house is treated as a terrace, to best live outside and enjoy the surrounding nature.
Having been only slightly modified, the interior layout develops from the entrance which distributes the living rooms on the one hand and the bedrooms on the other.
The living rooms revolve around the original central Fontvieille stone fireplace. The living room opens to the south, onto a large terrace followed by the swimming pool, under large umbrella pines, in a completely exotic atmosphere. The dining room, in the extension of the living room and the kitchen, opens on the east side onto a second terrace shaded by century-old pines. The kitchen, fitted with oak facades, tiles and a Zimbabwe granite worktop, is separated from the dining room by a workshop glass roof, and overlooks a third protected terrace.
In the other wing, the sleeping area consists of four bedrooms. The master suite in dark green tones benefits from a contemporary bathroom clad in beige and white porcelain stoneware and a double suspended oak sink, while the other three bedrooms share a second bathroom. All overlook nature and are extended by a terrace lined with pittosporum hedges.
A petanque court, a playground, a garage with a laundry room and several outdoor parking spaces complete this modernist picture.
