Architecture from the beginning of the century, this former fisherman's house in the Mazargues district with its whitewashed facade has been given a new lease of life after an in-depth renovation. The 165 m2 house is discovered around a monumental staircase taking over each level up to the roof terrace, where an idyllic landscape is revealed.

Renovation started from the roof to the patio, the 'root' of the house, the four levels have each undergone a transformation with the Mediterranean as a common thread. Organic and raw shapes, natural patinas, rounded walls and masonry railings are witnesses of Mediterranean techniques that the faithful renovation has highlighted and magnified. The custom-made solid oak joinery highlights the timeless ensemble. The different spaces are intertwined, signifying a certain art of living and a fluidity of spaces. The open-plan ground floor opening onto the patio accommodates an office in the large library and, separately, the immaculate master suite. At the back of a charming glass roof is a room used as a garage and laundry room. On the first floor, the immaculate living space opens onto a generously proportioned terrace covered in Zelliges. The sculptural staircase then leads to the sleeping area where there is a small suite and two children's bedrooms sharing a bathroom. Out of sight, the roof terrace hides an open-air kitchen and summer lounge, providing a change of scenery with its Greek air. White, in the spotlight in the house, exudes a certain harmony.

The Mediterranean art of living at its peak.
