Modernist architecture from the 1970s, this 160 m2 house to renovate extends over its flat 1,012 m2 plot, in the district of Saint-Pierre les Martigues, on the Blue Coast.

Designed by the architect Bernard TOUCHET, the house has retained its remarkable original elements. The facade and its recesses clearly sign the period of construction, with the opposition of its curved and straight graphic lines to the North, and a shuttered concrete cap to the South .
Rhythmed by the omnipresent light of the South, the house develops on two levels. The entrance occupies a central position facilitating circulation. The living room benefits from a double height and is articulated around a central fireplace in schist stone, taking up the exterior codes. The room opens with full-height aluminum windows on the outside, creating a continuity inside / outside. Terraces line the house and are extended by the wooded garden. After a masonry library, the dining room precedes the kitchen with its original green tiles.
Four bedrooms are set back and on the same level, among which is a suite with its bathroom, while the other three bedrooms share a bathroom. Upstairs, the mezzanine space gives access to an office and another bedroom treated as a suite with its bathroom, connected to the solarium and its window 'phew, ending with an office.
Three adjoining rooms in the attic and a small extension offer multiple layout possibilities.
A closed garage and numerous outdoor parking spaces complete the house.
