Redesigned in 2023 by architect Stéphanie Bertina-Minel, the apartment now features clean lines, warm materials, and a bold graphic signature.
Upon entering, the verticality of the space is revealed through a sculptural staircase adorned with a suspended net that interacts with the natural light. On the first level, a master bedroom with full-height storage benefits from the morning light from the east. An adjoining children's bedroom also offers generous proportions. The two rooms share a bathroom with 1970s accents and pop yellow notes, incorporating a laundry area.
On the second level, the main living area is organized as an open-plan space, where solid wood flooring unifies the whole and creates a soft and enveloping atmosphere. The true heart of the property, the central volume is structured around a strong architectural element: a deep blue core incorporating a functional fireplace, niches, and storage space. The living room, which opens onto a large horizontal bay window, enjoys constant light. The lounge is naturally organized around the fireplace, while a custom-made bookcase extends from the ceiling to the mezzanine.
This creates an additional space, which can accommodate a desk or a play area, lit by a skylight.
The stainless steel kitchen and dining area are located under the mezzanine, punctuated by glass panels that maintain visual continuity and light between the levels. The openwork bookcase at the edge of the mezzanine acts as a screen, allowing light to pass through while structuring the whole.
