Redesigned in 2014 by architect Jérémie Moller of MO Architectes, this living space cultivates a subtle dialogue between modernist heritage and contemporary design. Here, the layout has been meticulously planned, materials carefully selected, and color considered an integral architectural element. The star-shaped floor plan naturally organizes the spaces and ensures a smooth flow of movement. The spacious entrance, adorned in mustard yellow, easily accommodates a home office, while ample storage is discreetly integrated. The original floors have been carefully preserved, while the mosaic parquet in the living room evokes the aesthetics of the 1960s. Facing south, this living room and open-plan kitchen are bathed in light thanks to a glass wall. The quartz worktop adds a contemporary, mineral touch, contrasting with the period features. On the bedroom side, two bedrooms, each in shades of deep blue, share a bathroom with a distinct character. Glass blocks filter the light, creating a soft, almost hushed atmosphere. The original bathtub complements the black ceramic tiles designed by Claire Hecquet-Chaut.
