Renovated by an architect in 2017, the choice was made to combine bleached oak, polished concrete, steel and zinc, for a modern, trendy look that is all outward-looking. The first level is built around a play of transparency created by the large bay windows overlooking the open-air patio, giving a glimpse of Notre-Dame de la Garde. On one side, light from the west and south floods into the living room, which combines a lounge with an open-plan kitchen under exposed beams and high ceilings. On the other side, the master suite with its en-suite shower room and dressing room takes advantage of the uninterrupted view. Set back, at the foot of a handsome steel staircase, is an office area with a workshop feel. Upstairs, a separate en suite bedroom with its own shower room is illuminated by its glass roof and skylights.
