Designed on two levels, the house has been built in two volumes to fit in with the existing restanques, giving the dry-stone walling a spirit of garrigue and maquis, reminiscent of Corsican landscapes.
A graphic Corten staircase gives access to the immense wooden terrace, with its masterly view of the Bonne-Mère and the Sainte-Baume massif in the background. The openings on this first level are emphasized by wood-clad sloping panels, bringing warmth to the building.
Entirely open-plan, the living areas feature high ceilings for the living room, followed by the dining room and kitchen, defined by cement tiles and a sleek central island. Large windows let in eastern light and frame the views. The choice of waxed concrete flooring highlights the natural materials used in the construction.
The lower level houses the night space. The master suite benefits from a shower room and dressing room, while the two children's bedrooms share a shower room. All bedrooms open onto a terrace suspended along the length of the house.
A large garage completes this unique property.
