Contemporary architecture, this 220 m2 wood-framed house proudly stands on its 2,086 m2 wooded land, overlooking the village of Esparron-de-Pallières, facing the valley. The verdant area of Rians, from the Lure mountain, to the Mercantour via the Écrins massif.

Imagined by its owners and created by architect Jacques Simondi between 2006 and 2010, the house is designed as a soothing Japanese-style place. Its lines, the combination of wood and natural stone, the volumes of the rooms, as well as its large openings impose serenity and well-being. The wooden cladding that makes up its facade and its large glazed sections blend the house into the surrounding nature, in complete harmony. Arranged on two levels, the house is discovered through a masterful living room dressed in terrazzo and functional, with its minimal decoration and its numerous integrated storage spaces. s. The large openings frame the valley in front of the house in turn and give access to a large terrace shaded by a roof overhang. A stone staircase leads further down to the garden, whose Mediterranean species frame the infinity pool adorned with Albertini glass tiles. Back inside, the open kitchen in light wood forms a unit and contributes to the warm atmosphere of the interior. In the extension is discovered the parental suite, entirely glazed. A large dressing room links to the bathroom, whose rounded bathtub faces a majestic walk-in shower with emerald green glass tiles. On the lower floor, a hall leads to two twin bedrooms with a mezzanine which have direct access to the garden and share a shower room in light tones. A large dressing room and a laundry room complete this intimate level, which also leads to a large basement with cellar. Past the vegetable garden, a 25 m2 outbuilding with similar architecture completes this architect's property.
