Built in the 1960s, this condominium near the village of Mazargues, with its large wooded park, houses a 5th-floor apartment (out of 6, accessible by elevator) with a distinctive character and a 9 m2 terrace.

Renovated by interior designer Yacine Brukler, the aim was to respect the building's identity, with its strong 1960s aesthetic, and to create a welcoming, warm, and colorful atmosphere. The original terrazzo flooring served as the starting point, an obvious inspiration for the choice of materials and color palette. The entrance sets the first impression: that of a welcoming and functional space. The custom-made bench faces an airy screen combining wood and metal frames, visually separating the living area. On the entrance side, the bar provides storage, while on the living room side, it serves as a backrest for the sofa. The living space is structured around an open-plan kitchen, living room, and dining area, with burgundy as the unifying color. The space is generous and bright, extending naturally onto the west-facing terrace, which offers an unobstructed view overlooking the trees, with the sea and city as a backdrop. Conceived as the heart of the home, the kitchen skillfully blends materials, textures, and functions. The glossy backsplash by Carré Créatif captures the light and, by contrast, reveals the matte depth of the Njufront cabinetry. Echoing the terrazzo flooring, the color palette creates visual continuity between the different surfaces. At the center, the island structures the space, combining a work surface, a breakfast bar, and storage. On the bedroom side, the master suite is designed as a cozy cocoon, with carpeting and custom-made furnishings. The light wood headboard and bench, upholstered in geometric velvet, extend the apartment's shimmering color scheme. Two other bedrooms share a bathroom that combines the original pink bathtub with burgundy and white tiles. A cellar and a large bicycle storage room complete this property.

A place where the heritage of the 1960s is skillfully reinvented, enhanced by a sunny color palette and warm materials.
