Citrus Market I REPULP DESIGN

In a summer theme, ARCHIK presents the vitaminized work of REPULP DESIGN which exhibits a panel of objects and research around citrus waste and questions our relationship to food waste.
This exhibition shows the life cycle of an object from its primary form to its final product, putting citrus waste at the center of the table.
Repulp Design develops a product line that combines Victoria’s love of everyday objects with conscious design, advocating for design that conserves resources and supports creation.
With the aim of producing locally and French, Victoria has formed partnerships with freshly squeezed fruit juice companies in the PACA region, recovering the waste from their production in order to make its new raw material. Actors of the circular economy, the company Repulp Design tries to fit into a production model with a positive impact.

Victoria Lièvre
Originally from Avignon, Victoria trained at the Marseille Mediterranean School of Design. Upon graduation in 2019, she launched the Repulp project and took two years to complete the material and creative process.
Victoria’s work adopts a protocol that has as its starting point, a detail, an observation of her daily environment. These details become reflections on the cycle of an object and its relationship to its material. Like a correspondence between the two, each production intertwines the notions of valorization of a material, the place it holds in our personal or collective environment, and finally its capacity to create a link. That it can connect its origins and its function and thus create an analogy with its user.
The place of the material is very often central in his research, it results from the valorization of a by-product of the industry or the craft industry. Everything brings Victoria back to the idea of the minimum, the autonomous, the fundamental. To do a lot with little. And therefore find solutions, proposals and compromises in a production.
