Originally from the west coast of France, Marine grew up by the ocean. As a child, she spent her vacations between Pornic and La Baule, and developed an early interest in the seaside architecture typical of the Atlantic coast. Designing, thinking and re-structuring spaces were all activities that animated her as a teenager, and her bedroom was her first laboratory.

Curious and a jack-of-all-trades, she enrolled in a business school, which taught her the basics of the corporate world and opened up a whole new world of possibilities. Her various travels led to decisive encounters in her life, and as a young graduate, she settled in La Rochelle with her future husband, against a backdrop of rugby. Together, with no experience of building work, but with boundless motivation and a wealth of ideas, they set about renovating their first shop, stripping it bare to create a warm and inspiring place to live.

It was the birth of a new shared passion, which led them to successively undertake the renovation of different projects, born of their successive moves. While Marine designs the volumes and the choice of materials and furnishings, she also spends hours scouring hundreds of real estate ads in search of the next nugget to renovate. In 2016, it was her meeting with Cédric Fourteau, director of the Arcachon agency, during the sale of her own house, that finally convinced her to turn her passion into a profession, and she opened her first real estate agency in La Rochelle, her home town where she returns to live.

ARCHIK? An obvious choice, naturally embodying three fields dear to her heart and which have accompanied her for years: architecture, real estate and design. With her strong attachment to the human side of things, she can also identify with the values of the brand and its founders Amandine and Sébastien.
