To mark ARCHIK's 10th anniversary, the agency brought together 10 artists and designers and invited them to revisit the same object the bookend through exclusive editions. A variation on a single theme, bringing together different skills and materials to reveal the stylistic richness of a library classic. A collection presented at the EX LIBRIS exhibition.

Caroline Venet created StudioFoam in 2017, which she conceives as a research laboratory focused on materials. Through this design studio, she offers a unique interpretation of materials and questions manufacturing techniques and processes, combining innovation and traditional know-how. The designer explores the boundaries between art, craftsmanship, and design, developing a multifaceted approach that ranges from experimentation to installation, from material and surface design to product design, set design, scenography, and artistic direction.
For Paris Design Week 2025, she has designed a bookend called Paume for ARCHIK’s “Ex-Libris” exhibition, which is an extension of her Onde(s) suspension lamp, published by ARCHIK in 2020, and continues her research into leather and its revaluation. The bookend takes the form of an organic duo, imprinted with her palm, shaped in plaster and covered with a patchwork of hand-sewn leather scraps. Paume is a tactile, visual, and sculptural invitation that blurs the line between soft shapes and fixed volumes.
