Built in 1971, this house, redesigned by architect Luc Lefebvre in 2023, incorporates the principles of 'desert modernism,' an iconic architectural style born in the 1950s in Palm Springs. On two levels, it offers a beautiful living room on the garden level, largely glazed, which opens onto the garden with a continuous porcelain stoneware floor. The convivial kitchen is open to the living room and extends into a very practical adjoining laundry room. Also on this level, there is a master suite with its dressing room and its neutral-toned bathroom, flooded with light thanks to its skylight. This sleeping area is completed by two bedrooms that share a bathroom. A sleek staircase with a central stringer and wooden steps leads to the upper floor. Accessible from the landing, a 45 m2 solarium overlooks the garden and offers unobstructed views through a glass railing. The upper floor includes two additional bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom, one of which has direct access to the outside. The landscaped garden bordered by wooden fences contributes to the Californian atmosphere. Embellished with palm trees and cacti, it consists of vast wooden terraces organized around the heated swimming pool, the pétanque court and the annex: a hybrid space giving rise to all the possibilities of development. A garage and several parking spaces complete the ensemble.

Minimalist architecture, clear lines and an assembly of geometric volumes breaking down the boundaries between interior and exterior where wood, glass and stone blend.
