Designed by the Dovergne architectural firm in Angoulême, the house was completely renovated and extended in 1992 by Bordeaux architect Patrice Mialon, while respecting the original architecture. Built on two levels that follow the sloping terrain, the house is accessed upstairs by a wooden path that winds under the trees of the landscaped park. A large entrance space, delimited by a joinery element of built-in wardrobes, opens onto the bright living spaces that share the same cathedral ceiling. The living room, composed of two parts, captivates the eye with beautiful views towards the wooded garden through full-height anodized aluminum joinery that joins the exterior wooden ceilings of the covered terraces to the South. On one side of the living room, the master suite is nestled behind a pleasant library corner with its domed metal fireplace and its openings towards the outside. The dining room is at the end, in continuity with the same polished Comblanchien stone floor that reflects the greenery outside. The covered terrace runs along the facade to end in a promontory between the main house and the annex which houses under the same roof, two independent bedrooms each with its own bathroom. Complete this level, a closed kitchen with its dining area and direct access to the magnificent garden on the pool side. The garden level, accessible from the entrance by a staircase designed by Roger Tallon, houses two additional bedrooms, which share a bathroom, and a crossing office with full-height windows towards the landscape. This part of the house can be completely independent from the main house. A large garage for two cars adds to this exceptional property.
