Redesigned in the 90s by the architect Jacques-Émile LECARON, this house, once home to the composer Wagner, who composed the Phantom Ship, has been completely reinterpreted in the architect's lyrical style, composing a new architectural score that gives pride of place to roundness and volume, while punctuating the space with subtle references to the famous occupant of the premises.
Even before you cross the threshold, the glass floor contrasts with the classical façade, announcing a contemporary interior. The entrance is built around a concrete spiral staircase. The backbone of the space, it includes a solid wood mezzanine overlooking the living area, highlighting the warmth and spaciousness of this reception room.

'I meet them several times and get them to talk about their lives, their childhoods, their plans and desires. Above all, I never say no, I always try to find a way to make their dreams come true.' Jacques-Émile Lecaron
