The particular shape of the plot led the architect to create a V-shaped plan, giving the house a singular character and generous volumes. The living spaces are spacious and benefit from large openings, offering pleasant light throughout the day and the seasons with a permanent view of the garden, enclosed and not overlooked. The tone is set from the vast entrance and its 6 meter high ceilings, with, in the rounded part of the house, a wide staircase lit by its vertical windows, one of which has a screen-printed transom. The large living room, a real place for reception and sharing, is decorated with a Saintonge stone fireplace. The Némi terracotta tile floor adds a warm touch to the whole. Separate, the dining kitchen adjoins the dining room for happy meals and also benefits from an opening onto the garden. A library completes this level.
