LA MAISON ROSE

Entirely revisited by the architect Baptiste Legué of the ABL workshop, this house was the ideal setting for a renovation project that took into account the history of the place. The starting point was the idea of giving it a more contemporary dimension, while preserving its soul and charm. Thus, an extension in brick cladding was created, in perfect harmony with the pink tones of the house, to accommodate the living room. Facing south, it is bathed in light thanks to a large black aluminum bay window opening onto the travertine terrace and the garden. It is the kitchen, open and central, which makes the link between the extension and the initial structure of the house.
With its pink travertine worktop and its central island, it is a real nerve center of this level, on the garden level. In the extension, the dining room dressed in Okoume wood and its custom-made bench hide the hidden staircase that goes up to the first floor.
In the extension, a large parental space is discovered, opening successively on a large bathroom in travertine, then on a dressing room to arrive finally on the night space. The whole is covered with a sand-colored looped carpet. An office and a comfortable laundry room complete this first level.
Upstairs, two attic rooms designed with their layouts under slope offer a perfect refuge for children. The relocated hopper has allowed the creation of a pleasant bathroom with a window where the sandstone tiles contrast with the terra cotta colored walls of Pure&Paint.
