Designed in 1988 by architect André Stern, this 346 m2 modernist villa stands like an inhabited sculpture in a 6,000 m2 park, spreading its geometric wings in the green heart of Trois-Lucs.

Designed on a star-shaped plan, the building was conceived to capture as much sunlight as possible. Ribbed concrete, glass pavers, portholes, roof overhangs, curved lines, and straight lines punctuate its architecture.
From the entrance, the symmetry of the lines and perspectives set the tone for the space. At its center, a circular living room wraps around an open fireplace under a superb glass roof that acts as a skylight. The walls are entirely glazed with floor-to-ceiling aluminum frames, concentrating the light and removing the boundary between inside and outside. The space is extended outdoors by a wooden terrace followed by a rounded infinity pool. The dining room occupies a separate, more intimate room and leads to the kitchen, which also opens onto the garden.

Stern's architecture emphasizes integration with the landscape and dialogue between interior and exterior spaces, creating lively and convivial places.
