Contemporary architecture defines this superb 170 sq m house, designed by architect Jérôme Pichoux of Chaos Architecture, offering a unique living space perfectly integrated into a verdant oasis in the heart of the sought-after Roucas Blanc.

Conceived entirely to follow the sloping topography of its plot, the house merges modernist principles of materials, openness, and purity of form, creating a villa that is both contemporary and deeply rooted in Mediterranean tradition. Poured concrete, natural Bejmat tiles, terracotta screens, and glazed panels punctuate its exterior architecture, while inside, raw walls and floors, clean lines, and geometric shapes are adorned with textured surfaces and colors. Behind a discreet entrance door, a simple, airy staircase leads to the first level, which overlooks the verdant valley. Adjoining a bright entrance, a studio with a separate entrance, kitchen, and terrace provides a space that can be adapted to suit individual needs. Ideal for entertaining, it can also be repurposed to create two bedrooms or a beautiful workspace. The staircase then leads to the sleeping area. There, two en-suite bedrooms open generously onto a rooftop terrace ready for planting. A rounded concrete headboard and exposed walls subtly complement a Bejmat floor and a Zellige backsplash. The heart of the house is revealed below, in a Brutalist-inspired extension nestled in a verdant oasis framed by champagne-colored aluminum windows. The concrete, a recurring motif, is softened by iconic and colorful designer pieces. On one side, the wooden kitchen unit is adorned with a pale pink Zellige backsplash and touches of brass. On the other, the expansive living room is organized around a concrete bench that structures the space and blurs the lines between indoors and outdoors. Outside, there's an explosion of color and light. The monochrome use of pink, the green zellige tiles, and the pool's reflecting pool add a unique dimension to this almost tropical retreat. The outdoor space combines a terrace, swimming pool, and pétanque court under a western light that illuminates the surrounding nature until sunset. A laundry room, storage areas, and an outdoor pantry complete this property, which also includes parking for a car and a motorcycle.

It evokes the atmosphere of Barragán in the heart of Roucas Blanc.
