Built by a duo of architects for themselves, the house stands on three levels and reveals a space with an undeniable character. The era of construction gave rise to all sorts of creative audacity. Plastered, unhooked walls, wooden joinery, travertine, Japanese straw tapestry, everything has been admirably preserved. The interplay of colors, textures and raw materials flatters the eye. The geometric shapes in reference to brutalism are lit by the southern sun.
From the entrance, the cream travertine unifies the whole of the ground floor and the staircase. The dining room and the living room harmoniously share the space. The original wooden bay windows alternating fixed sides and openings invite greenery from the outside into the living room. The kitchen in its simplicity captivates with its original blue. Lower down, the office benefits from daylight and a view of the garden. The first floor houses four bedrooms bathed in sunlight which share a shower room and a bathroom. On the last level, two attic bedrooms, one of which opens onto a south-facing terrace, allow the possibility of fitting out the space according to one's needs.
